Free April 2017 Poem - There's No Guarantee
Blessings to you and yours,
The other day when I came home from work I happened to turn on TV and saw a talk show host visiting with a young couple. The woman was crying as her husband sat in shock trying to figure out what he had said or done. I'm sure we have all been in the same situation with someone we love or care about.
No doubt we have all said things that may have hurt someone else and at that time may think it wasn't a big deal so why are they crying. Those are the times we have to shut our mouths and listen! The fact is if we hurt someone it doesn't make a difference. They are hurt so we need to say we are sorry. When it comes to love there are no winners. Protect and be kind to those you love. No matter who it is - mate, parent, sibling, friend, stranger, etc. - be the person God made you to be and let your heart do the talking.
The 2017 April poem is called, "There's No Guarantee." It was written as a reminder that today is the only day you have so be careful when you speak or do anything. We all have said things we wish we could take back, but know we can't. I know I have! I hope the poem will remind us all to watch our tongues and reflect the love of Jesus in everything we do or say. We are human and make mistakes, but when you know it, say your sorry, okay?

There's No Guarantee
Tomorrow, tomorrow... there's no guarantee about tomorrow
So be careful what you do today.
Tomorrow, tomorrow... you can't borrow from tomorrow,
But today you still have time to say.
I'm so sorry I hurt you. I didn't mean to hurt you.
Please forgive me and please don't cry.
Words can leave scars that cannot be erased.
You never know if it's your last good-bye.
Our days are all numbered. We only have today.
Always make the most of all you do.
God only gives us now to live and honor him.
Life doesn't offer an undo.
Love each day and let the words you say
Build someone up so they'll be free.
God is great and he loves you.
Be the person you were born to be.
Don't live tomorrow when God gave you today!
