January 2019 Poem - The View (New Year's Day)
Happy New Year!
It's less than 12 hours and we will be in 2019. Can you believe it? I sure can't. It seems I just started 2018 and now it's almost over. When I look back over this past year, I see many ups and downs with life. When I look ahead to 2019, I choose to see only ups! What about you? Can you decide it will be a great year ahead? Sure there will be sad times and pain, but can you see that God is in control and leave things to him? It's not always easy to do, but I sure am going to try hard again this year. Wish me luck!
The New Year's poem for 2018 is called, "The View." It's a reminder to try to see things from all views. See if you can find good in everything that happens. Then remember things can always be worse so count your blessings that they are not.
Have a safe night tonight. If you go, please don't drink and drive. If you stay home, love those around you. Don't end the year upset or mad at someone. Sooner end it with love in your heart for God and your family and friends. You are blessed.
